About Restock

Restock is an independent price comparison site for common household items like dishwasher tablets and laundry pods. We help UK shoppers find the cheapest per-unit prices across major supermarkets and online retailers.

Our prices are updated daily to ensure you have the most current information. We compare price per unit rather than total price, so you can easily see which pack size offers the best value.

How we work

• We monitor prices from major UK retailers including Tesco, ASDA, Sainsbury's, Morrisons, Ocado, and Amazon.
• All prices are calculated per unit (per tablet, per pod, etc.) and rounded fairly so you can compare at a glance.
• We highlight loyalty card prices (like Tesco Clubcard prices) when available.
• Where a shop sells online only, an out-of-stock reading is a fact about the country, so we mark it and leave it out of the rankings. Where a shop has branches, stock is held per store — we cannot know what is on the shelf near you, so we keep showing the price and say "check your store" rather than claiming it has sold out.
• Data older than 72 hours is marked as stale and not highlighted.
• Once we have watched a price for long enough to say something about it, we show whether it is the lowest we have seen in a month, or what it changed from.
• Where a shop asks something of you beyond the shelf price — a membership, a minimum basket — we say so next to its price.
